NATIONAL SUICIDE HOTLINE
The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention, and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. A chat extension of the National Suicide Hotline is The Crisis Text Line, as shown on the right.
CRISIS TEXT LINE
The Crisis Text Line is here for any crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from our secure online platform. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment. A call extension of the Crisis Text Line is the National Suicide Hotline, as shown on the left.
ITHACA CRISIS SERVICE
Are you upset, confused, depressed, lonely, hurt, angry, scared, suicidal, worried about someone else, or so overwhelmed that you don’t know what to do? Calling for help when you are in emotional pain is smart.  The Ithaca Crisis Service does not give advice, judge, or try to fix you. Its goal is to listen, support, and guide you towards finding your own solution.
SEXUAL ASSAULT HOTLINE
The National Sexual Assault Hotline offers a variety of confidential services, starting with support from a trained staff member who with help talk you through what happened. This is followed by support finding a local health facility that is trained to care for survivors of sexual assault, and offers services like sexual assault forensic exams. The hotline also gives you local resources, which can assist you in your next steps toward healing and recovery. Additionally, referrals for long term support in your area and information about the laws in your community are given, as well as basic information about medical concerns. DRUG & ALCOHOL ABUSE LINE
The Drug and Alcohol Abuse line is a confidential helpline implemented to help if you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse issues. Educated advisors on these hotlines can help you find easy and affordable help, walk you through the beginning processes of getting help, and supply you with additional resources.
NATIONAL RUNAWAY SAFELINE
The National Runaway Safeline offers a crisis hotline for youth at risk of running away, those who have run away or are homeless, and their families. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the National Runaway Safeline can help those who need advice or someone talk to, need help finding a shelter, food, medical assistance, or counseling.
ACTIVE MINDS NATIONAL ORGANIZATION

Active Minds is a nonprofit organization on a mission to help those, with or without, a mental illness. Student leaders on campuses nationwide work tirelessly to advocate for mental health, with the goal of making it talked about as easily as physical health.
MEDITATION APP
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. This app provides a free one-minute meditation.
